MEN WHO HAVE REWRITTEN THE SCRIPTURES…
EUGENE PETERSON, AUTHOR OF “THE MESSAGE” BIBLE…
BRIAN SIMMONS, AUTHOR OF “THE PASSION” BIBLE…
JOSEPH SMITH, AUTHOR OF “THE BOOK OF MORMON”….
What do men who take it upon themselves to violate the Word of God by rewriting the Scriptures all have in common? Prior to their need to violate God’s Holy Scripture, these men all held some form of belief(s) contrary to the written Word of God.
👉🏼Eugene Peterson the author of the Message Bible did not believe homosexuality was to be condemned, even when the Bible has passages which clearly do.
So Eugene Peterson took it upon himself, to “enlightened the Church and God,” as to the real judgment upon homosexuality.
Peterson simple removed the word “homosexuality,” from the passages which condemned its practices. Also Eugene Peterson favored “Universal Salvation,” so in passages which spoke of salvation and repentance Peterson eliminated the word Salvation.
Here is the key to men who rewrite the Bible, the all wanted to inject their heretical beliefs in the Bible, so they “all rewrote the Bible according to their philosophy.” It’s the same reason why modern day preachers teach from the Message Bible, so they can endorse the heresy God approves of homosexuality, as long as men love the men they are in sexually immoral acts with. Peterson has brought upon himself God’s curse by rewriting the Bible.
👉🏼Brian Simmons, lied about his expertise in Bible translation. Brian Simmons is an intentional deceiver making up stories how he used the Aramaic Manuscripts to give a “more impassioned translation of the Bible.” However, men who examined Brians “story’s have found no evidence Brians translation has actually come from the Aramaic. However, they did find Brian was willing to rewrite the Bible according to “Kingdom now/Dominion Theology.”
Basically Brian Simmons is a Bill Johnson follower or a world wide Church take over by modern day apostles and prophets. So Brian rewrote hundreds of passages to fit the “no coming judgment,” version Bible. Brian Simmons simply holds the philosophy the Book of Revelation has “nothing to do” with the Second Coming of Jesus Christ, no end time judgments. Instead Brian Simmons believes the Book of Revelation is about the “interior battles a Christian faces in his walk of faith.” How twisted can a “modern apostle get,” to defy the Scriptures and make up “fairy tales.”
Brian also believes Jesus Christ appeared to him taking Brian into the library of heaven. In heaven “a jesus,” showed Brian the Bible was not a “finished Bible,” instead John chapter 22 was to be revealed to the “great end time world conquering church.” Brian continues to foster the heretical lies of the signs and wonders Movement God is opening up “new light of interpretation, for modern day apostles and prophets.” Is it any wonder Bill Johnson and virtually every apostle of the signs and wonders Movement has made Brian Simmons heretical Bible “their official translation”
👉🏼Joesph Smith the founder of Mormonism was a liar and a cheat. Smith wanted to endorse polygamy and practice sexual immorality with many sex partners. It is proven Joesph Smith was an occultist, and incorporated his occult practices into rewriting the Bible, now called the Book of Mormon by the Church of Latter Day Saints. Just goes to prove a “demonic angel of light is behind the rewriting of behind the rewriting of Scriptures.” As Joesph Smith claims the angel Maroni gave Smith the “true Scriptures,” and true “Christianity.” In the same way an angel of light appeared to Brian Simmons pretending to be jesus, and appealed to Simmons’ elitist pride. Is a wonder millions of people can follow a false apostle or prophet, and applaud their “heretical versions of Scriptures?”
2 Corinthians 11:12-20
12 But what I do, that I will do, that I may cut off occasion from them which desire occasion; that wherein they glory, they may be found even as we.
13 For such are false apostles, deceitful workers, transforming themselves into the apostles of Christ.
14 And no marvel; for Satan himself is transformed into an angel of light.
15 Therefore it is no great thing if his ministers also be transformed as the ministers of righteousness; whose end shall be according to their works.
16 I say again, Let no man think me a fool; if otherwise, yet as a fool receive me, that I may boast myself a little.
17 That which I speak, I speak it not after the Lord, but as it were foolishly, in this confidence of boasting.
18 Seeing that many glory after the flesh, I will glory also.
19 For ye suffer fools gladly, seeing ye yourselves are wise.
20 For ye suffer, if a man bring you into bondage, if a man devour you, if a man take of you, if a man exalt himself, if a man smite you on the face.
2 Corinthians 11:1-4
1 Would to God ye could bear with me a little in my folly: and indeed bear with me.
2 For I am jealous over you with godly jealousy: for I have espoused you to one husband, that I may present you as a chaste virgin to Christ.
3 But I fear, lest by any means, as the serpent beguiled Eve through his subtilty, so your minds should be corrupted from the simplicity that is in Christ.
4 For if he that cometh preacheth another Jesus, whom we have not preached, or if ye receive another spirit, which ye have not received, or another gospel, which ye have not accepted, ye might well bear with him.
6 I marvel that ye are so soon removed from him that called you into the grace of Christ unto another gospel:
7 Which is not another; but there be some that trouble you, and would pervert the gospel of Christ.
8 But though we, or an angel from heaven, preach any other gospel unto you than that which we have preached unto you, let him be accursed.
9 As we said before, so say I now again, If any man preach any other gospel unto you than that ye have received, let him be accursed.
10 For do I now persuade men, or God? or do I seek to please men? for if I yet pleased men, I should not be the servant of Christ.
11 But I certify you, brethren, that the gospel which was preached of me is not after man.
12 For I neither received it of man, neither was I taught it, but by the revelation of Jesus Christ.
