Susan Davis: Hell is not a place you ever want to go…

Talking about hell is not going to make you very popular at dinner parties, but ministry people who NEVER talk about hell are really not very nice people. To not warn people about hell is extremely thoughtless and uncaring.

So let’s take a look at a few things about hell:
-people who have seen hell (and there are many) usually are the most vigilant spokespersons against hell you will find–what does that say about what they have seen?
-hell is mentioned in the Bible many times actually and when you go there, you cannot get out–it is a place of torture and torment–darkness, suffering, food and water depravation.

Hell is not a place you ever want to go–in fact JESUS was very frank about it–HE said you were better off without a hand or eye than to touch or see something that would put you in hell….

Now what I really want to focus on is the sheer numbers of people who have already gone to hell or are going to hell–past and future….The Bible says the road is broad to hell and MOST people go there–MOST…

In 1 Corinthians 10:8 the Bible talks about an event that took place during Moses’ time and the Israelites all at once were lost because of committing fornication in the number of 23,000:
1 Corinthians 10:8 (KJV):Neither let us commit fornication, as some of them committed, and fell in one day three and twenty thousand.

Then in this passage we see that hell is a place where many of the history of the world will not make it into heaven: Matthew 7:13 (KJV): Enter ye in at the strait gate: for wide is the gate, and broad is the way, that leadeth to destruction, and many there be which go in thereat:

The Prophet Isaiah says that hell actually grows to continue to accommodate the numbers there: Isaiah 5:14 (KJV): Therefore hell hath enlarged herself, and opened her mouth without measure: and their glory, and their multitude, and their pomp, and he that rejoiceth, shall descend into it.

John in Revelation talks about one who comes out of hell: Satan comes out of hell at the end of a one thousand-year reign of CHRIST on earth after the seven years of tribulation on earth yet to be seen…and here it the shocking reality–even after CHRIST is in charge for one thousand years the people who follow Satan the Bible says number the like the sand of the sea…although this is future tense–it is a sobering statistic indicating that most people walk outside of the Salvation of CHRIST and the Will of the FATHER so that GOD has to send them to hell…

Revelation 20:7-9 (KJV): 7 And when the thousand years are expired, Satan shall be loosed out of his prison, 8 And shall go out to deceive the nations which are in the four quarters of the earth, Gog, and Magog, to gather them together to battle: the number of whom is as the sand of the sea. 9 And they went up on the breadth of the earth, and compassed the camp of the saints about, and the beloved city: and fire came down from GOD out of heaven, and devoured them.
