Warning–beware fellow CHRISTians:
The LORD is upset that people think they have to drink coffee during the dissemination of HIS HOLY Word.
These churches that allow coffee and drinks to be brought in–GOD is not happy–let alone some of it being sold on church property.
The LORD brought this to the attention of myself and my ministry partner about two years ago. HE told us one week then I totally forgot and the next week brought not one but two drinks with me where I would normally just bring a water bottle.
I think HE allowed this to make HIS point with us. To top it off the water bottle that I brought the prior week was still on the floor by the chair I normally sat in. So there were three drinks!
My ministry partner reminded me of what HE had told us and the LORD spoke to me during Bible study to get up and pour out all three containers of drinks outside in the grass so I got up and did just that.
HE means business. HE is not happy either with items being sold on church property. It is ok to give a donation for a book or CD but HE is not happy with items being sold.
HE is not happy with farmers markets, rummage sales, coffee shops and snacks for sale on church property.
Food to be shared can be brought in and the like before or after the bible study or service but not for sale and not during the dissemination of HIS HOLY Word.
This was not an issue 100 years ago before the advent of water bottles and coffee shops on every corner.
By the way: Starbucks has a ‘water witch’ as their logo. In light of this do you really want to go in there to purchase coffee or drinks?
