When Jesus is Unpopular Amongst our Loved Ones

Scoffers will arise, will multiply, and will take a stand for the ideology of the Antichrist in the last days. They will come, they will see us, they will laugh, spit, and turn many of us in for execution. We will be an everlasting reminder of the love and righteousness of Christ, and yet, to them, seeing us and having to be amongst us will be like fingernails on a chalkboard—irritating!
This is the way the end times will be. If you are a born again believer in the LORD JESUS CHRIST and you are getting the cold shoulder from friends and family now, you haven’t seen nothing yet! Scoffers will be the everyday norm and they will be coming out of the woodwork like cockroaches as they celebrate their rising king, Barack Obama. He will oppose everything that is of God and yet he will declare himself as God. He will set himself up on a pedestal and be spotlighted by the Pope of Rome, Pope Francis. All the evidence is out there, friends, and it is mounting up gradually like an avalanche coming down in slow motion.
I’m writing this facebook post to encourage you, not to discourage you. These are the signs that Jesus said would happen prior to His coming. If He knew anything at all about mockers and scoffers, He knew that they were being manipulated by the powers of darkness. He had harsh words to speak towards them, and yet He felt compassion for their unrepentant hearts. He knew of their destination because He was the one Who created hell. Jesus wishes that no one would perish, but that everyone would come to an everlasting relationship with Him.
The bottom line is this—If the mockers hated Jesus back in the day, what makes us so different today? Absolutely nothing! We must be ready to walk in the same sandals as our LORD and SAVIOR and to count it all for joy any suffering that we do for Him. We’re human…our hearts will be hurt, we may shed many tears. Jesus knows what we are going through as He also suffered at the hands of those who hated the MISSION that He was sent here to accomplish. Shine brightly for the LORD JESUS. Shine in the darkness and be like a city on a hill. Don’t let anyone steal your joy, your crown, or your opportunities. Have the LORD place you in a group of like-minded believers that you can get support from. Ask the LORD to remove any and all negative influences from amongst your closest friends. Be open and honest with yourself. Don’t stand for mediocrity. Remember who will stand beside you as you stand before the Son of Man one day—-No one except YOU. —YOU, YOU, YOU!
2 Peter 3:3
Knowing this first of all, that scoffers will come in the last days with scoffing, following their own sinful desires.
Whoever corrects a scoffer gets himself abuse, and he who reproves a wicked man incurs injury.
But to all who did receive him, who believed in his name, he gave the right to become children of God…
2 John 7
For many deceivers have gone out into the world, those who do not confess the coming of Jesus Christ in the flesh. Such a one is the deceiver and the antichrist.
“Then he will say to those on his left, ‘Depart from me, you cursed, into the eternal fire prepared for the devil and his angels.
2 Peter 3:9
The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not wil
